Sad To Have To Lean On PR for Basics

It seems very say to me that cleaning up a nation has to be sold under a name:

...On Monday, the Prime Minister formally launched a programme with catchy title and acronym in ’Clean Up and Beautify Trinidad and Tobago (C&B T&T),’ which briskly communicates a clear message. Will the communication succeed in rallying public and private bodies at all levels, and the masses of ordinary citizens to whom it is addressed?...

Really? Maybe I need to come up with some catchy titles and acronyms for other things.

Maybe that's been the whole problem. Catchy slogans. Like, "Wey de man wid de dusbin gone?"

I kid, I kid....

After the ensuing months of beatification of the Republic's streets with the god sized posters and billboards a period of beautification is just what the Dr. ordered. Even the man with the dustbin don't know election done!

... did you hear the new Minister of Health ask her staff to eliminate the CRAP in our hospitals?  Yes, CRAP - "constantly recurring administrative problems."

Her words.

I thought: yep, she's a management lecturer.  Effortlessly rolling out the motivational slogan, with a dash of humour, to galvanise action around a problem.  I admit it, I snickered.

Regarding your slogan for rubbish, no harm in recycling.  Tell somebody official that Charlie moved back into your neighbourhood, and he brought his family along.  Time to chase Charlie again...

By tomorrow they'll forget the CRAP (the real issue here)and instead focus on the shortness of the dress she was wearing.

I remember one catch phrase "fix the ME in CRIME" and we all knew what resulted from that - Annual decrease in the increase of the decrease.
