Poking Fun at CHOGM

A quick post with 2 links to some amusing (and perhaps apt in some cases) writing on the entire Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). Please note that the writings may not be politically correct, but they may be considered politically accurate by some.

BC Pires has some fun with the Queen and Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Patrick Manning in The PM & HRH @ CHOGM.

Kevin Baldeosingh offers some letters to the Queen here. Thank Edmund Gall for that find.

If you find more, feel free to add them in the comments below. I will.

... entitled An 'old boys club' headed by an old lady examines whether the leading newspapers of other Commonwealth countries report significantly on the CHOGM.  Some don't.

Interesting Letter to the Editor in today's Trinidad Express entitled "CHOGM talk is cheap, but not for us": http://www.trinidadexpress.com/index.pl/article_opinion?id=161564291

It hits the major points and handles a lot of the subtlety... Love it.

We heard the many comments of how great and successful this meeting of Commonwealth leaders was, but what else should we expect from diplomatic men, did we expect them to tell the truth or to tell us what they really felt and how they thought the meeting was managed. It would be interesting to know what they said once they return to their respective countries.
