Biometrics

I was a bit surprised to see the Trinidad Guardian report that the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs staff have a problem with biometric technology to access the Ministry. First, I was surprised that the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs would use biometric technology for access - it isn't as if the Trinidad and Tobago Treasury is inside the building. But on the other side of things, I don't see how a simple security system could infringe an employee's privacy.
