I apologize in advance for what is a very long post, but I found it necessary in writing it and could  not find a reasonable way to break it into smaller pieces. Hopefully it isn't too burdensome to read.

Since I wrote The Media and Social Media On The Web In Trinidad and Tobago: The Beetham Incident, I've been pondering why it is that social media's presence wasn't seen more effectively. There are a multitude of reasons I came up with and I'm tackling them one by one. This entry has nothing to do with those reasons but has everything to do with those reasons.
