A friend of mine is suffering from bad headaches.
No real history of it, just started about a month ago
and has gained intensity. Her vision is starting to blur.

She went to a health centre at seven thirty this morning
and got a number (12) then sat down. Later, she would
notice a number (45) sitting across from her waiting.

A man is using a grinder and blacks out, because his blood sugar is
low. He gashes his leg with a four inch dig that is bleeding profusely.
His father rushes him to Casualty at around 8 pm.

When he arrives he is bleeding but he is concious. A nurse administers
a gauze dressing as he is still bleeding. He is then told to sit and
wait, which he does FOR THE NEXT 5 HOURS.

Just something that's bugging me after seeing the Trinidad and Tobago tabloid newspaper   'written media' headlines at the express checkout line in Hi-Lo:

600 cases in an estimated population of 1.2 million is 0.05% of the population. If we go with another estimate of Trinidad and Tobago's population, 1.5 million, we come up with 0.04% of the population.

Oh. And 3 people? 0.00025% and 0.0002% of the population dead, respectively.
